I’ve been dealing with environmental allergies most of my life. This is the first product I’ve found to work quickly and gently with no side effects. And you take it whenever you need to. I reach for it first thing in the morning, and will take it again within that first hour. I’m breathing much better, and unlike so many of the well known products on the market, it won’t upset the stomach or liver, or wind you up or wipe you out.

I am the biggest doubter of these kinds of products but the side effects of any allergy meds I have taken have stopped me from taking them again. So, reluctantly, I tried Dr. Garber's EnviroDefense. First, it seemed to stop not only my sneezing and itchy eyes but also my headaches and vertigo. However, I still wasn't convinced, being the skeptic that I am. Today, I was in a great deal of pain with red, itchy eyes that would not be relieved with any of my allergy eye drops. Then I remembered Dr. Garber's remedy and took it. Within 10 minutes, my itchy, red, painful eyes went away. Unbelievable. Now I know for sure that it works! Too bad everyone doesn't know about this miracle product!! I am deeply grateful to have discovered EnviroDefense.

I have suffered with environmental allergies and food intolerances, manifesting as very itchy skin on and off most of my life. After giving up the cortisone creams decades ago, I started my search for relief. I tried acupuncture, of course, with virtually no long-term success. I tried the candida diet, again with no success. While in acupuncture school I had success with Classical Homeopathy for a period of time. Unfortunately I antidoted that remedy and have suffered on and off to varying degrees ever since. I had some success with a form of NAET, but currently don't have access to a therapist. About a year and a half ago I decided to try all sorts of remedies, of which there are many, and most do very little if anything to help. When I came across your formulas I decided to try the SKN (Skin) and ALR (Allergy) together. The results have been remarkable. My skin has completely cleared up and I can eat almost anything without having an allergic reaction. After approximately five months I stopped taking the formulas and have been fine for the last two to three months. I am just now starting to have very mild reactions to certain foods, so I have started taking them again. I am 76 year old male and have had severe asthma for the last 25 years. About 1998 I was talking to a woman who worked for a homeopathic doctor. She told me in glowing detail about how her asthma had been arrested by this doctor she worked for. About this time my own asthma had grown to alarming rate and was progressing monthly. I had been on asthma inhalers and allergy medicine such as antihistamines and nasal sprays daily since the age of 5 or 6. At the age of 27, I started taking Dr. Garber’s Lungs and Allergy formulas regularly and after only a few months I was able to completely get off of my medication. This was 3 years ago, and now I only take the formulas as needed, for example if I know I am going to be around cats which I am highly allergic to or when the pollen kicks up at the season change.

As a person who usually resorts to inhalants, pills, and syrups to combat allergies, this product is a refreshing change of pace and taste. The flavor is pleasant and the product is light. It even smells good! The use of natural ingredients is a plus too. The only issue I have with the product is that the cap easily broke under a normal level of pressure applied to open it, thus making it somewhat of a hassle to use thereafter (had to be especially careful).

A flu shot can only help so much. This is a great product to take not only for allergies, but as a boost during flu season.
And right now, it's a double header at my house. Seems like everyone I know is at some stage of a bug, and in addition I'm doing a huge house clean, kicking up dust and allergens like crazy.
I love that it's a liquid, I feel like my body welcomes it on board a bit better than a tablet. Many people subscribe to the theory that liquid supplements are absorbed more efficiently.
It's really helping to keep my naturally dry eyes a bit more lubricated, too.

A major positive is that the ingredients are pretty good. Black Currant, Briar Rose, Juniper and a couple of add-ins such as glycerin and water. The taste is a touch bitter, but totally palatable. Of course, it is very difficult to evaluate the effectiveness of these drops until you take them for a few weeks. And even then, without a control case, it's hard to know how much improvement is due to these drops. Still, with the good ingredients, I gave the drops four stars for being a potential substitute for over-the-counter remedies. I will update my review as the allergy season unfolds!

Many of the Dr. Garber solutions remind me of the Native American “recipes” for helping people deal with symptoms from disease or, in this case, allergens. This one used to be called Dr. Garber’s Allergy, one of the more popular products in the company’s repertoire. Of course none of these are FDA approved, however they are formulated using GMP standards. Below is the suggested use from the website. Although the product seems to be relatively benign, the best time to test it will be in the height of ragweed season during the summer.

“Suggested use: Take Dr. Garber’s Natural Solutions EnviroDefense (formerly called Allergy) throughout the day as needed. Take 1.0 ml (two half droppers) 2-4 times or more per day directly by mouth or in a small amount of water. For more chronic conditions, 1.0 ml (two half droppers) twice daily will usually be sufficient. For acute situations, more frequent dosing will have a better action.

“The amount can be safely increased so use as much as you need to achieve the desired result. If it applies to your particular situation you may find that taking Dr. Garber’s Natural Solutions for Lungs as well will produce an even better result. This Dr. Garber remedy solution has been helpful but not sufficient against my allergies.

It's interesting to me that Juniper has been used medicinally to treat diabetes and improve the condition of one's gums. Maybe it helps against allergy symptoms.

One of the ingredients, pineal gland, is something that nearly all vertebrate species have. It's a small gland near the center of the brain, and it produces serotonin and melatonin. I have seen literature on treatments for medical conditions that affect the functioning of one's pineal gland. But I had never seen the gland itself used in a medication.

Dr. Garber certainly thinks in a unique way. His remedies are all bold new attempts to address maladies. I think it's worth a try as it helped me somewhat.

I typically don't suffer from allergies and ordered Dr. Garber's Natural Solutions EnviroDefense from the Amazon Vine program with my daughter in mind. She has suffered from allergies since she was eight years old.

As it turned out, the toxins in the air are definitely getting worse because I found myself in need of the "envirodefense" product when after a long day, my eyes were itchy and my head, heavy.

The taste was adequate, not too over powering and went down easy enough. Since I did not feel any immediate relief, I took the product again a couple of hours later. One benefit from Dr. Garber's Natural Solutions EnviroDefense is that since it consists of all-natural ingredients, there are no worries overdosing, which, on the downside, the remedy can get costly, especially since the product is already higher in cost as compared to the brand name over-the-counter allergy medicines. Anyway, I took another shot of this elixir and no more itchy eyes and my head felt better. The best thing about Dr. Garber's Natural Solutions EnviroDefense is that unlike the over-the-counter stuff, you do not get sleepy. That bonus in itself, to me, is worth the extra money. So if you are looking for an all-natural alternative for allergy relief, Dr. Garber's is a good contender in the allergy relief battle.

I was interested in this product for allergy symptoms that are only alleviated minimally by meds and shots. So far I haven't noticed any impact on my post-nasal drip, but I've noticed my eyes are less irritated, which is benefit enough for me for now--however, I'm guessing that this, like with any natural product, requires consistent and longer usage to be most effective. I'm also assuming that different people with different symptoms are going to react differently with this product, so try it with an experimental attitude.

My biggest complaint is that there's so little info given by the company on the bottle (or this page). The directions indicate that you're supposed to take it alone from the dropper or in water (FYI w/ water, it tastes fine), and from my experience with liquid herbs, you need to know whether to take this on an empty stomach or with food. At first, I had thought it was a homeopathic due to the alcohol content, and thus thought that it needed to be dropped under the tongue and held in the mouth for awhile--and without any other taste in the mouth (which can conflict with homeopathics). But I guess that's not the case for this. It would be great if the product came with more info. I looked at the website, and here's a little more info that explains the presence of pineal gland (which I at first thought made this not vegan). However, apparently all formulas are indeed vegan (if that matters for you). This explains how the plant stem cell therapy (etc) is supposed to work.

I have mold, dust and ragweed allergies and switch between the OTC "non-drowsy" antihistamines regularly, none of which help all that much. Since I had the chance to try this, I took it but didn't think it would really work. I took one dose in the morning and forgot to take one at night - but noticed in the morning I was a little stuffy/realized I hadn't been during the previous day. So I started taking it twice a day and I have to say, it actually works much better than the OTC meds. The only downside is that it's more expensive - if you take it twice a day, it will last about a month - so $30 a month. But, I will continue to get this since it does give me some relief.
